Get to Know Pastor John

John Starr is a disciple of Jesus, the lead pastor of Good Ground Church, and an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN). In addition to his pastoral responsibilities, John is a web programmer for Cross & Crown, a digital agency in Chambersburg. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Shippensburg University and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Christian Studies from the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, TN.

Pastor John has been happily married to the love of his life, Amber, since 2005. Their passion is to see lives transformed through a relationship with Jesus. In his free time, John enjoys watching the Baltimore Orioles and relaxing with Amber. They live in South Central Pennsylvania with their two children, Joshua and Allison.
