What to Expect
We’re so glad you’re considering a visit to Good Ground Church! Here, you’ll find a warm, welcoming community of believers who love doing life together. From the moment you walk through our doors, we’ll treat you like family.
Worship
Worship is our opportunity to praise our Creator, Lord, and Savior. We sing a diverse selection of songs, from traditional hymns to modern choruses, with lyrics projected on a monitor so you can sing along with us.
We meet every Sunday at 10:30 AM, and we can’t wait for you to join us.
Children’s Church
While the “big kids” listen to Pastor John, our littlest members enjoy their own space and lesson at SHINE Children’s Church. During our time of worship, kids have fun together while learning more about Jesus in a way that’s just for them.
God’s Word
Pastor John delivers biblically sound, relatable messages that challenge us to deepen our walk with God. His passion is to develop disciples who will go out and make disciples of others.

How long are your services?
Our services typically last around 90 minutes.
How should I dress?
Our dress style is very laid back. Some individuals wear business professional attire, but others dress in t-shirts and jeans. Whatever is comfortable for you!
Is there somewhere for my kids?
Yes! We offer children’s church following our praise and worship time for ages toddler through fifth grade. We also have a dedicated nursery area that is staffed every other week. If it is not staffed the week you come, you are more than welcome to use that space with your little one.
Can I have directions to the church?
We share half a building with a company called Environmental Comfort and you will probably see their sign first. We are located right on PA Route 30 between Chambersburg and Saint Thomas. Here is a direct link for Google Maps if you need directions.
