Rooted in a Place of Love

Good Ground Church was planted in the fall of 2022, born from the passion God placed in the hearts of Pastor John and Amber to share the Good News of Jesus with the west side of Chambersburg and the town of Saint Thomas. Our first service took place on September 11, 2022, and since then, we have doubled in size.

Our vision is to serve the community where we are planted by being the salt and light that Jesus called us to be. We aim to be a life-giving presence, bringing light to the darkness, hope to the hopeless, and healing to the hurting.

We desire to truly be good ground—not just a catchy name, but a reflection of our values. We exist to share the good news of Jesus Christ by reaching out to others and helping them grow in Him. Our community is a place where everyone can take root in love.
