The Parable of the Lost Sheep

Jesus’ Parable of the Lost Sheep reveals God’s heart for seeking out those who are lost. Unlike religious leaders of His day who avoided ‘unclean’ people, Jesus actively welcomed outcasts. The parable teaches that God doesn’t wait passively but actively searches for each lost individual, rejoicing when they’re found. Like the shepherd who left 99 sheep to find one, God values each person immensely. This challenges believers to identify their ‘one’ – someone they can pray for and intentionally reach out to with Christ’s love.
